Gerard is a senior artist-teacher at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). He is a licensed professional secondary school teacher and a theater arts moderator at a university in Quezon City. A former dancesport athlete specializing in the Modern Standard discipline. His performance training includes Lessac Institute’s Kinesensics Vocal Training for Professional Actors and Madz Music Studio’s Advanced Course Voice Training for Teachers. Both an actor and a production staff, Gerard has participated in various PETA productions, including the restaging of Bertolt Brecht’s Ang Buhay ni Galileo, Rody Vera’s Under My Skin, Liza Magtoto’s hit jukebox musical Rak of Aegis, and Rody Vera’s original Filipino hit musical Walang Aray.
