Francis Gatmaytan is trained in dance from a young age, and is further training in different genres through time. From Hip-hop, Jazz, Cheerleading, Ballet, and Contemporary. He was former member of DanSSA and SSA Pep Squad in High School, and was a former member of the UP Varsity Pep Squad, UP Dance Company, and a current member of REDPh where he explored and further expanded his craft. 

He is also a former Assistant Coach of MC Junior Hardcourt, and a former Coach of The Assumption Dance Company Jazz. He also have worked in Theatre as part of the ensemble of Tanghalang Pilipino's Lam-Ang: An Ethno-epic Musical, Metropolitan Theater's Lapu-Lapu: Ang Datu ng Mactan, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative's Mula Sa Buwan,which he also played as one of the Dance Captains, Full House Theatre Company's Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical, and Tanghalang Pilipino’s Sandosenang Sapatos where he was also the Dance Master. 

Recently he was part of Full House Theatre Company’s Buruguystunstuguduystun as part of the Ensemble and as one of the Dance Captains/ Choreography team. Currently he is part of Repertory Philippines’ Jepoy and The Magic Circle as Galis and as the Associate Choreographer. He was also part of the Philippine Delegates for the Dubai EXPO 2020, held in Al Wasl, Dubai.
